At Least I Had My Hat

You know those times when you realize that you made a big mistake when you got dressed that day? Well, I had one of "those" instances this weekend.

I went down to the Toronto Festival of Beer on Saturday, which was at a venue that's partially outdoors. I had only been outside for a minute or two that day, so I thought that my thick sweater was enough to keep me warm in the weather that was a few degrees above freezing.

Friends, this was not the case.

I wore my favourite floppy hat, thinking that (and the beer) would be enough to keep me warm. I quickly realized how big of a mistake it was, but it was too late.

Sometimes, it's fashion over function and the fashion won this round. While I had my cardigan buttoned up a few minutes after getting to the venue, I was rocking my graphic tee, which I love. If you're wondering, this tee was last seen here.

A lot of random people asked me if I was cold...and if I wasn't one of the most awkward people ever, it could have been a great conversation starter to meet some boys. Apparently, it's easier for me to talk for hours on end about what sweaters I love, and how to accessorize, but I'm pretty sure that's not how I get anyone to ask me on a date!

  12. Super cute outfit! I love that hat and your cardigan! I can't believe you only had a cardigan on when it was that cold! I live in Florida so anything below 70 requires a jacket haha!
