New Year, New Look

Happy (belated) New Year!!

I'm really excited to say that over the last few days, I've given the blog a bit of a face lift. You'll notice some more subtle changes to the overall design, and the more obvious change of a new banner.

Considering I know next to nothing about HTML and coding, I'm really happy with the way this all turned out. All I can say is, thank you Pinterest! I was able to figure out how to add some new buttons and pages, thanks to bloggers who so kindly share their knowledge with the rest of us.

With regards to the banner, I took a ton of inspiration from Pinterest and had some fun playing around with Illustrator and Photoshop. I use these programs for work all of the time, but it's rare that I get to design anything for personal projects.

Aside from the updates, today I wanted to share an outfit of mine that I wore when I was on vacation in Florida. I must say, looking at these photos makes me sad that I'm not still down there. We're in the midst of a snowstorm here, so I am currently jealous... of myself.

With regards to the outfit, I kept things simple that day, wearing my all-time favourite jean jacket and a pair of camo-esque pants.

My hair never styles correctly down there, probably a combination of weather and different water, so I decided to rock the sock bun. I can't travel without that!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Denim Jacket - Hudson // Top - Anthropologie // Pants - Gap // Scarf - Costa Blanca
Necklace - Vintage // Shoes - Aldo // Bag - Roots // Sunglasses - Firmoo

Let me know your thoughts on the design! I hope ya'll like it :)
