What I've Been Up To This Week

This week has been quite a busy one! I know that busy week = less time spent online, but I always keep my iPhone close to at least document some of these busy times.

I had the playoff tournament this weekend for one of my softball teams. This is always a sad time of year for me because I love the game, but luckily my other league goes until the end of September, so I don't have to call it quits for the season quite yet. The tournament weekend is always one of the most fun weekends of summer. We had a bit of drama this time around with an unruly team and a sexist umpire, but all-in-all, it was a great weekend.

I figured I'd share some of the pictures I took this week. Personally, these are some of my favorite types of blog posts, so I hope you do too! 

Beautiful late summer sunsets are some of the best.

I go to the same Starbucks each morning before work. One of my favorite barista's nicknamed me 'Jackie Chan,' and now, my nickname has a nickname. I love being a "regular!"

One of my best lunches of the week. It was a salad of baby greens, shrimp, roasted red peppers, sunflower seeds, bocconcini cheese, parmesan shavings and homemade red wine vinaigrette. I ate it with a peach and some pretzel crisps. YUMMY!!

Enjoying a beautiful homemade peach tart with friends....but they tried to "hide" the cream cheese and sour cream in the filling. Can't fool me!!

Softball tournament fun. We couldn't have asked for a better weather!

Healthy eating at it's finest, in between games. Beer and pizza just go so well with the game though! ;)

Morning Selfie before the game. I rocked my Warrior Dash t-shirt to avoid wearing my disgusting and unwashed jersey from the day before. The rest of my team didn't seem to share that plan.

My "battle wound" from the tournament. I hope this teaches me to avoid the attempt to catch a ball with the hand that isn't wearing the glove.

...and now I'm off to play another game with my other league. You'd think I'm all played out.

I think I'll be sore tomorrow.
