More often than not, I err on the side of casual when it comes to fashion and what I love to wear. After all, I drool over pieces like this and these when I'm shopping for clothes. When I shop for shoes, I drool over the beautiful 4" pumps, but leave the store with shoes like these instead.
My office doesn't require that we get dressed up for work, so most of the clothes I buy tend to work well for evenings and weekends, too. (Okay, just weekends - after work, it's all about the sweats)!
I just feel a lot more comfortable and a lot more "me" when I'm wearing fun skinny jeans, a cute top and a cardigan. I love playing with statement jewelry, and don't think I'll ever get tired of fun scarves. I'm confident that casual done right can look pretty darn awesome! It's all about looking put together.
But. Every now and again, I just fall in love with a pretty dress, which means I have to have it! Lucky for me, if I want to wear something a bit more fancy to work, that's okay too. AKA - I have an excuse to buy fancier clothes as well. I'm really good at justifying. Can you tell?
Gap has been coming out with some amazing dresses over the last few seasons. The patterns have been perfect and the fits have been incredible. When I saw this number on sale, it was pretty much a done deal. In my opinion, you can't ever have enough summer dresses!
