Review: eShakti

Today, I'm really excited share a review of a really cool online shop, eShakti. They're an online clothing retailer, offering a wide selection of really cute women's apparel. What makes them different is that everything they sell is made to order! If you wear a size 0-36, you'd be able to shop the line with ease.

For someone who loves shopping as much as I do, it's kind of crazy that I'd never bought clothing from an online-only shop before. I know it's silly, but I'm always afraid that whatever I order wouldn't fit properly, and that I'd end up stuck with something I can't wear. This is why I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with eShakti and give it a try. After all, if I was getting a custom piece, it was bound to fit correctly!

I ended up choosing the Multicolor Floral Print Dress, because I loved the pattern for the summer. Whenever you place an order, you have to include your height, so the garment is at the right length for you. I decided to change the sleeve and neckline of this dress, to make it more "me" than the stock design. If I had known my measurements, I could have entered my bust, waist and hip size. They give you the option to chose from a standard list of sizes as well. 

When the dress arrived a couple of weeks later (remember, made to order), I literally ripped open the packaging. It looked exactly as I imagined and I was so excited to try it on. The fit is great! I do wish I had taken the time to figure out my measurements, because it's a bit low cut in the bust area. Live and learn, right? This just means that I'll have to figure out what my measurements are before I place any other orders. 

All and all, it was a great experience and I'll be wearing this dress throughout the summer.
