Danger - Burgundy Obsession

Wow there, crazy weather!

Yesterday was a prime example of weather that just can't make up it's mind. Earlier in the day, it was warm  (yes, 40 degrees is warm these days) and felt like spring. By late afternoon, we were in the midst of a blizzard. Good times that commute home, good times.

Just like the weather, I've been swaying between spring and winter as well.

On the one hand, I am completely craving anything and everything spring - brights, pastels, light fabrics and fun prints. I think these cravings are caused by a combination of too many trips to the mall lately and my upcoming warm weather getaway. Social media doesn't help either. Joe Fresh's new collection has been popping up on my Instagram AND Twitter feeds. I feel like I need this and these. Now.

On the other hand, I really do love certain cold weather pieces and colours, and have been hanging onto some of them for dear life.

Burgundy is a prime example. I just love burgundy! 

I know I can wear it in the warmer months, but I don't. 

It's during the last stretch of any season that I make sure I get the most wear out of some of my favourites. Naturally, this means my burgundy cardigan and those boots are making quite a few appearances.
