Maybe you'll be luckier than I was - shop here |
Yesterday, I decided to hunt for some too-good-to-pass-up deals on winter boots. I ended up on the Urban Outfitters website and found a pair of booties to order...and a couple of other things.
I'm not a huge online shopper, but I found myself starting at shoes, and eventually I was adding tops and accessories to my cart. Addiction, yes, I know.
I wasn't 100% on what I actually wanted, so I decided to leave the cart, and check back in a couple of hours. Of course, by the time I came back, set on ordering this top (because it combines two of my favourite things), it was gone.
Serves me right for trying to fool myself into being minimalistic. And for waiting too long to discover it in the first place.
Tell me - do you get (non)buyer's remorse? Share your latest item you regretted not buying!
What a great top! Too bad it sold out....although it makes it easier for me to continue my no shop challenge when things sell out! Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI know!! I was trying to hold off a bit too...which is why I waited on it!
DeleteAw thats a shame! Thats why I never hold off, I get really paranoid and then it's all I can think about until I finally just do it!

That is a really cute top! The same thing happened to me while waiting for this J.Crew sweater to go on sale. I should have just bought it! Time to stalk eBay for it!

Oh I hate it when this happens! At least there are a ton of other beautiful clothes out there waiting to be bought!
ReplyDeleteMost the time, I am actually relieved that the thing sold out. I end up realizing that I didn't really need that thing. This top is cute, but if it's really meant to be, maybe the top will come back in stock?
ReplyDeleteI do (big hands up!) get non-buyers remorse sometimes. Even though I am a big online shopper, sometimes I just can't decide fast enough...and poof it's gone. No worries, something better with catch your eye :)

I literally just did this today! I decided to take and nap because I was too lazy to go get my credit card from my purse. When I woke up, it was gone! So sad!

Uggg that happens to me all the time, but I think I only want those things so badly because I can't have them.

I'm the same way with online shopping! I will sit there and fill my cart up with a ton of things and then ditch it when it dawns on me that I'm not actually going to buy all of that! It's my online version of window shopping, I suppose. :)

UGH this just happened to me today. so frustrating! francescas collection had a flash sale on booties and i passed up a pair that were originally $160, selling for $30. major bummer.

I've definitely had non-buyer's remorse before! It's hard, though, because sometimes I do need the time away from my "cart" to know if it's something I absolutely need. But yes, I took too long on a bangle at Ruche and never got my shot. Still hurts a little to think about it.. ;)
