New Season, New Hair

With fall "officially" here, I felt like I needed a change. Sure, I switched out the summer clothes and brought in the fall ones, but that's never enough.

It was time...for a real change.

I had a hair appointment booked, and of course, when I called to make the appointment, I explained that it would just be my hair color and not a cut. You don't have to give me a lecture about it, because I know that it's so important to cut your hair regularly, especially when you have fine hair like I do. I just hate getting it cut because I always regret it!

I'm not even sure why I started looking online at shorter hair styles, but I did. Then I started to think that maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to get a proper hair cut.

So, I did!

I'm sure some people would say that it's not actually "short," but for me, it's a BIG deal, okay?! It's shorter in the back than in the front, so curling it is something I need to work on again.

Overall, I know it was the right thing to do. I love the darker look for fall, and it's healthier looking.

One of my favorite things about a new hair color and style, is feeling like you look different in the clothes that you already have. For me, I love the contrast of darker hair with beiges and creams, so earlier in the week, I dusted off one of my cozy sweaters that had some of these shades.
