Hello, Moto

Happy Monday!!

I hope everyone had a really great weekend. I know I did!

For months now, my friends and I have been trying to plan a "girl's weekend." Aside from not all living in the same city, we all have so much going on in our lives and it can make it tricky to find a weekend that works for everyone. We literally penciled this one in a few months ago!

It's always fun to catch up, and share a laugh (or many) over a few bottles of wine and some high school yearbooks. We visited a few Niagara wineries, went out for a nice dinner, and spent the night in. It was the perfect day, and I wouldn't have wanted it to be any different!

Okay, that's a partial lie.

It was completely pouring rain and gross outside on Saturday, which meant we didn't quite get to "tour" the wineries. Free tastings helped to ease the pain from that loss. My hair way frizzy and disastrous, which meant that I didn't really take any photos. I was also not over my cold and was coughing like a madwoman. Still, even with said trials and tribulations, I really had a fantastic time and am already looking forward to the next one.

Of course, all good things must come to an end, so it was back to work today.

As you can see by these photos, the weather was fantastic today. Even though it's supposed to be unseasonably hot (WAHOO!!) outside tomorrow, it was very cold this morning. The positive thing about the cold morning? I finally got to wear my all-time favorite leather motorcycle jacket!

I know motorcycle jackets are being highlighted as 'trendy' for fall 2013, but I picked up this jacket at Winners a few years ago. It was one of those rare gems I seldom find in stores like that. Did I need a leather jacket at the time? Nope, but I do know a good find when I see one, so that baby came home with me and we've been living happily ever after.

  13. No one has described anything of mine as Pintrest-y, so thank you!!

I know, it can be so much worse. We went to visit a friend of mine an hour and a half away, which seems so far, but it's not really THAT bad.
