Feeding My Addiction

I hope everyone is having a really great weekend! 

I spent much of mine soaking in the sun and then I had an early softball game tonight. Now, I'm just catching up on some blog reading before I call it a day.

With such a relaxing weekend, I didn't really wear anything noteworthy, nor did I do anything out of the ordinary to post about. This is why I thought I'd post about an outfit I wore a little while ago. This outfit highlights my addiction to fashion and shopping. Let me explain.

One of the parts of my job that I really like is that I get to go out of the office and meet with clients. It's always nice to break up the day by getting away from my computer and heading downtown....except, downtown is a dangerous place for me! There's a ton of really cool shops, and I am easily tempted.

A couple weeks back, I had finished what I needed to do downtown, and was on my way back to the subway to head home. Before I made it to the subway, I had to make a quick stop into a store that caught my eye with a cool window display. I wasn't even sure what store it was until I went in, but it was Buffalo Jeans. Even though it's not a store that I frequent, they had really cute stuff that day, and I left with a couple of tops, including the one I wore here. Out of everyone at my office, I'm the only one who would do this. I made sure not to tell anyone why my meetings were such a "success" that day.

This wasn't just any shirt that would blend into the rest in my closet. I thought the faux leather details were cool, and the spikes were just awesome. The only issue with the spikes is that before I even made it to the office, I had already lost 3 of them...
