Plunging Into The 'Blogosphere'

Oh, the infamous "first post" of a new blog.

I was hoping this blog would have a natural flow right from the beginning, but now I feel like I'm back in school. I say that because it brought back that feeling I used to have when I had a new essay to write. I'd have a whole list of great ideas in my head until I actually opened that blank Word document and felt stuck, wondering how to begin.

I guess considering that I'm just an awkward person, there's no real way to get around the fact that any first post I write is going to be a bit, well, awkward.

Oh right, this is me! I guess you can say I'm your average twenty-something from the suburbs. Aside from work consuming a large part of my life, my main interests are food, fashion, and increasingly fitness. That's something I never thought I'd say, but it's becoming more and more the case.

I'm very much a creature of habit. I love what I love, and one of those things is my morning Starbucks. My routine is so predictable that when I order something other than the "norm," I tend to throw off the baristas.

There's no question that I'm a warm weather girl. I love just about everything about the warm weather, but seeing as how I live in Canada, there's that odd time that I can grin and bear the snow. I really need to emphasize that this is just the odd time...

Food is and always has been extremely important in my life. A meal can honestly make or break my day. As the photo above illustrates, when I like something, I really like it!

I guess that's a pretty good start for now! If you decide to follow along through my blogging journey, you'll get to know me a lot better. This is basically me in a nut shell though...

  2. Love the colours you combined here and those sandals are amazing! They look equally chic as they do comfortable.

    1. Thank you! I have a lot of trouble finding sandals that don't kill my feet and I actually find those incredibly comfortable. Luck of the draw maybe?

  3. just checking out your blog and I love it. :-) I can definitely relate to many of the things you posted. I, like you, just started a blog. I have wanted to for a while and finally decided to do it. I also LOVE food and agree that it can make or break a day. I have also just recently became more and more interested in fitness over the last 2 years or so. For someone who never stepped foot in a gym when I first met my husband, I now go to the gym pretty much every day and love reading healthy living blogs. Anyway, love your posts so far and I'll definitely be following your blog. :-)
